There’s Adrian and there’s Isabella. Two people who have been through well….HELL.
And the book is basically about how they bring each other into each other’s hell and find love with each other. It’s intimate, emotional, and touching.
The book draws you in from the start and doesn’t let go! It was over before I knew it but it did get my adrenaline flowing!
The descriptions and the POVs are top-tier! The storyline, the whole “knight-in-shining armor” plot is unoriginal but the way it is written is unique! It’s a fast-paced book, rather sexually explicit, romantic, and imaginative. The author knows how to use her imagination and the reader to create something intriguing.
In some ways, it was realistic enough but also fantastical. The kind of stuff you see only in movies. But I guess that’s fiction for you!
Overall, it was an enjoyable read!
